Introduction to Mindful Living

These are common problems in our busy modern society. Mindfulness is an ancient technique practiced widely in Asian cultures, which has recently found its way into Western medicine. This powerful tool trains our mind to focus on the present moment. With repetition, we rewire our brains, giving us the power to shift our way of being toward better mental health.
Join Hot Spot Power Yoga instructor, Tracey Lukkarila, for an introduction to mindfulness. This 2 hour workshop will explore three paths to mindfulness; the physical you, the mental you, and the mysterious you. You will learn how yoga and meditation can be leveraged for optimal mindfulness, as well as other techniques for bringing mindfulness into everyday living.
