Danielle was immediately hooked after her first yoga class. She fell in love with the movement and connection she experienced with her body and her breath. Through her newly developed habit she spent some time exploring different styles and attending classes religiously five days a week. She was so passionate about her own experiences practicing yoga that her boyfriend recommended that she look into teaching. He told her that if she loved something so much, she should share! And so she did! Within a week of his suggestion Danielle was signed up for teacher training! This training was taught implementing the Baptiste Methodology and it was during her training that Danielle feel in love with the Baptiste methodology. She is particularly moved by the methodology being founded in empowerment and meeting the individual as they are/ as they come.  Since the completion of her training, Danielle dove right in to teaching as much as she could, and she loves every minute of it. She hopes to connect and share this passion with her students. And through this connection she intends to develop a platform for them to grow their own awareness of passions that they may have in their own lives. Danielle leads the Teacher Mentorship Program at Hot Spot Power Yoga, and is also a Client Care Adviser for Hot Spot Power Yoga. Danielle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of North Florida.  She is in the process of obtaining her Baptiste Certification and her RYT-500. In her free time Danielle loves spending time with her fiance, family and dog. She enjoys traveling, attending concerts and meeting new people.


Danielle Schellhorn instructs the following:
  • Detox Flow (75 min)
  • Detox Flow is a mix between a traditional Baptiste Power Yoga class and a more restorative class. It's a balanced class combining flow, total body integration, awakening and restoration to give an overall detox to both the body and to the mind. It's the perfect way to rinse out stress, and create a clear mental space to move forward from. The flow of this class has many different levels which allows for beginners, intermediate and advanced students to be challenged in the same class. This class is taught in a 90 Degree heated room to warm the muscles and increase detoxification of the body. (75 min.)
     

  • Power Yoga (75 min)
  • An ultimate experience for people who are ready to tap into their inner-power. Based upon the Baron Baptiste Power Yoga Method, this practice is a combination of different traditions of yoga that combine for a dynamic mix of sweat and spirit. It will tone your body and electrify your mind. It is a flow that has many different levels which allows for beginners, intermediate and advanced students to be challenged in the same class. The classes are taught in a heated room to help cleanse the body and warm the muscles. This flow will torch calories, tone your body, and relax your mind (75 min)

  • YOD (Yoga + HIIT - 75 minutes)
  • YOD is Intentional exercise. You get the yogavibes combined with a high intensity, sweaty workout. We’re proud to say we don’t use props or equipment in YOD (ie: bands, weights, stability balls). You’ll leave this class ready to take on the world!
    Here’s the breakdown:

    20-minute Power Yoga Warm-up
    Sun salutations A & B to fully warm up the body
    Active poses within a flowing sequence
    Set intentions and build community

    25-minute Strength and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
    Work your upper body, lower body and core individually and together
    Learn how to integrate exercises into full body movements (compound movements)
    Use your own body weight and focused attention to experience the full expression of each exercise

    15-minute cooldown and savasana
    Restorative yoga postures designed to bring the body back to a balanced state
    Acknowledge and appreciate the resilience and strength of your being
    Rest and relax in savasana so you leave class feeling fully rejuvenated


  • Power Yoga (60 min)

  • Y.O.D. (Yoga and HIIT - 60 minutes)
